Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria has been a standby in East Van for years, and with their Commercial Drive location within walking distance to our apartment, it’s a great spot to stop for lunch or dinner if we’re too tired to cook. They’ve just launched a new Fall Menu that includes three new crave-worthy menu items, as well as two returning favourites, available now at all Famoso locations across Canada.
“This season we’re excited to be adding three new dishes to the menu we know our guests are going to love,” said Justin Lussier, CEO and co-founder of Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria. “Our Roasted Cauliflower pizza is a unique combination of flavours, featuring honey, gorgonzola, and chili oil. ” “ The Italian Pulled Beef Sandwich is a new personal favourite of mine – I love the elements of crispy prosciutto and horseradish aioli on the sandwich – it’s a must-try!”
Serving up quality eats in a relaxed, family-friendly environment, Famoso is a traditional neighbourhood pizzeria that uses fresh ingredients and house-made, hand stretched dough to create their Neapolitan pizzas and pastas.
The Italian Pulled Beef Sandwich is an intense beast of a sandwich, and you’ve been warned. House roasted, hand pulled beef on a brioche bun with crispy prosciutto, provolone, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and horseradish aioli — this is definitely a must when you stop in next.
Their all-new Roasted Cauliflower Pizza is another winner. It features a Bianca Sauce, fior di latte, roasted seasoned cauliflower, green olives, toasted almonds, gorgonzola and Grana Padano. Topped with honey, house made chili oil and a lemon wedge – this is one delicious combination of flavours that is altogether perfect for the oncoming chilly Fall weather.
Famoso’s Cauliflower Dip is made with roasted seasoned cauliflower, artichokes, cream cheese, cheddar and smoked mozzarella. Oven baked and served with crispy tortilla chips and garlic flatbread, this is comfort food that is best served piping hot. Other returning favourites include their famous Funghi Pizza, made with parmesan crema, fior di latte, caramelized onions and a medley of mushrooms; and their Korean BBQ Beef Pizza, with house-made Korean BBQ sauce and house-roasted pulled short ribs. The new fall menu is now available at all 31 Famoso locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. Find your closest Famoso at famoso.ca/locations.
