Are you over the smoothie bowl craze? We rarely make them anymore, but occasionally they can be good fun, especially when you have some extra berries in the freezer just dying to go for ride in the blender. Our friends at Almond Breeze asked us to try out their Almond beverage products a little while back, and since then we’ve enjoyed using it in everything from smoothies, soups, sauces, or straight up! It has a clean, refreshing taste, and isn’t cloyingly sweet the way a lot of traditional almond beverages can be.
Blue Diamond Almond Growers is a group of dedicated farmers who grow the almonds that go directly into every carton of Almond Breeze. They’re a cooperative that has been around for over 100 years, and their group of hardworking, dedicated staff will be the first to tell you that turning a humble almond into a luscious, creamy and satisfying non-dairy beverage isn’t an easy task.
As the Blue Diamond brand continues to innovate and grow, they have become the largest handler of almonds in the world, an impressive feat in a highly competitive category. Find them in your local supermarket, or online through major retailers like Amazon or Walmart.
